FromSoftware tweeted yesterday that we will see gameplay of the long-awaited Elden Ring DLC "Shadow of the Erdtree" at 3 PM GMT today. In addition to this news, it seems reliable leaker billbil-kun of French magazine Dealabs has found some details regarding the DLC that indicate the DLC will be dropping on June 21st.
According to billbil-kun there will be some new editions of Elden Ring that will include the DLC with both a game of the year and a collector's edition. The article states these versions of the game will be released on June 21st thus the information leaked that this is when the DLC will be available to play.
It's hard to judge from this how much the DLC is going to cost on its own but anywhere from the £30-40 mark would make sense. I can see Shadow of the Erdtree being a very expansive DLC and some of FromSoftware's best works have been through their DLCs.
We have no reason to doubt billbil-kun regarding this leak due to providing accurate information in the past and we may even get confirmation later with the gameplay trailer that could perhaps include the release date. We can't wait to see what FromSoftware has in store for us later today!
