In addition to being a beloved children’s show, Paw Patrol has
been the subject of countless video game spin-offs. The latest in this long line
is Paw Patrol: Adventure City Calls, which releases on PS4, Xbox One and
Nintendo Switch this August 13th. The difference this time, however,
is that Chase, Marshall and Skye are joined by new Paw Patrol member Liberty, exploring

Those who missed out on Sucker Punch’s Japanese open-world
epic last year on PS4, fear not. Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut launches
exclusively on PlayStation 5 this August 20th, bringing with it
Dualsense controller enhancements, improved lip-synching and even a new island.
The best part is that any progress made in the PS4 version is also

The first big annual sports series from EA to release this
year is Madden 22, marking the first time American football has made its

the NFL by taking the updated roster of teams onto the field, working your way up
from the bottom to the top of the league. Next-gen stats make for more

A direct continuation of the look and tone of James Cameron’s
1986 action classic, Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a three-player co-op shooter
that pits you and friends against the infamous Xenomorph. There are five different
classes to play as each boasting unique perks, all of which let you unleash
various combat abilities that makes firefights a lot fairer. Surviving the hive
will be tough, true, but it’s worth it to experience all-out action set in the Disney’s
Alien universe. August 24th is when the xenomorphs are unleashed.

The original Psychonauts was a seriously inventive 3D
platformer that saw you jump into various people’s minds to complete puzzles.
This creative ethos successfully remains intact for this long-awaited sequel,
which launches on both PS4 and Xbox One on August 25th after almost
two decades. Picking up directly from where the first game left off, Raz and
the rest of the titular squad team up continue his psychic research. This
involves exploring all-new levels that take place in the mind and restoring
order to Psychonauts HQ.
Travis Touchdown is back this August 27th thanks
to the arrival of No More Heroes III on Nintendo Switch. It’s not just other
Santa Destroy inhabitants he’ll be battling with this time, though. Now he’s
forced to defend the whole of Earth against an alien race. This crazy concept
is backed up by the franchise’s classic staple of creative boss fights and satisfying
hack-and-slash combat, all of which help make No More Heroes III the most
over-the-top entry yet.
