Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 (June 4th)

While most first-person shooters tend to play out as quickly as possible in the effort to feel cinematic, the Sniper Ghost Warrior series has always been there for players who enjoy a slower pace. This time the action plays out across various locations in the Middle East, where you must sneak up to an ideal sniping perch and get a shot on a list of high-profile terrorist targets. You’ll need to account for distance, wind and sway, taking your time to land the perfect shot. Look forward to Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 when it releases on June 4th.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (June 11th)

The PlayStation 5 has seen a slow trickle of true exclusives in Demon’s Souls and Returnal, but both those titles appear to the hardcore gamer. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart releases this June 11th to finally change that, being a colourful platform-shooter that plays like a Pixar movie in motion. This time the titular pair will be hopping between dimensions in the effort to stop Dr. Nefarious. Luckily, they have a whole gamut of creative weaponry to help them do it. Don’t miss this must-have PlayStation 5 exclusive.

DualSense Wireless Controller – Cosmic Red, Midnight Black (June 18th)

June doesn’t just see the release of exciting games, but also some notable accessories too. PlayStation recently surprised everyone by announcing not one, but two new DualSense colours: Midnight Black and Cosmic Red. Both launch on PlayStation 5 as early as June 18th, letting players lucky enough to own Sony’s next-gen console the chance to make a bit more of a fashion statement when playing a PS5 game. Pre-orders for both DualSense colourways are open now.

Metro: Exodus Complete Edition (June 18th)

You may have already enjoyed 4A Games’ post-apocalyptic FPS back when it first launched in 2019. As a follow-up to the prior two entries, it was a thrill to explore the soviet landscapes above ground for the very first time in the series. Such scenery now looks better than ever thanks to the new Complete Edition releasing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on June 18th. This version presents the game in all-new 4K visuals, implementing 60 fps as standard and introducing ray tracing that makes the lighting look more believable than before. Want to showcase your next-gen tech? Play one of the best single-player shooters of recent years.

Mario Golf: Super Rush (June 25th)

It’s been a while since Mario took up one of his favourite sports. We had the likes of Mario Tennis Aces and Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, sure, but one was a port of an existing game and the other vastly underwhelmed. Well, it’ll soon be time to brush off your Nine Irons, because Mario Golf is back in the form of Super Rush, which launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch this June 25th. It comes complete with multiplayer, a single-player story and an all-new mode called Speed Golf. Here you must dash across the course while putting the ball as fast as possible.
