November is typically the biggest month of the year when it comes to game releases and 2021 is no different, with juggernauts such as Call Of Duty: Vanguard and Battlefield 2042 vying for your time and attention. This years Call of Duty takes us back to the World War II era, playing as a vital part of the special forces in their early days across different fields of war. Developer Sledgehammer are back at the helm for this entry in the series and will be providing the expected 3 game modes for you to enjoy on release with a fully-fledged campaign, multiplayer sporting 20 maps on release and of course Zombies. Furthermore, there will be a cross-over with Call Of Duty Warzone, providing a massive Vanguard theme map. Call of Duty Vanguard releases on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.

Forza Horizon is Microsofts go-to when it comes to displaying the power and prowess of their consoles. Showing cars and environments with incredible graphic fidelity and pairing it with exceptional racing gameplay. Forza Horizon 5 is definitely an exciting release as it’s the first in the series to be showcased on the all-new Xbox Series X console, to truly highlight what a next-gen racing game can look like.
Forza Horizon 5 will be taking us to Mexico and is boasting a map 50% larger than that of Forza Horizon 4. New features include the EventLab which allows for players to create custom races and experiences to enjoy and share, then a tonne of improvements to customisation systems and general online functionality for playing with your friends. Following delays, Battlefield 2042 is now set to release next month on the 19th of November. With a near-future setting featuring a repertoire of interesting gadgets and guns, the latter of which you can now customise on the battlefield as you storm into combat. One of the most exciting additions in Battlefield 2042 is the new Portal feature which is going to give players access to a powerful creation suite that harnesses maps and tool-sets of past Battlefield games. This feature really opens the game up for post-launch content as a result of a flood of community-driven content and game-modes are created. Enjoy Battlefield 2042 on Playstation, Xbox and PC.

The Nintendo Switch’s next foray into pokemon is one that’s sure to tug on the nostalgia strings. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl are full remakes of the gen IV games we saw on the Nintendo DS back in 2006, it goes without saying these have been a long-time coming. For the most part, these games are set to be a faithful reimagining of the original games but they will have the quality of life features that have been standardised by the more modern Pokemon games.
