It’s been a while since we’ve had a big-budget virtual reality game come to PSVR, but the wait will have seemingly been worth it as Marvel’s Iron Man VR sets you in the boots of Tony Stark and releases this July 3rd. Setting you off on an original storyline unique to this adventure, you’ll can use the PS Move controllers to believably propel yourself through the air, blasting enemies out of the air and going toe to toe against the evil villain Ghost. Take flight as one of Marvel’s most famous heroes like never before.
Motorsports have screeched to a standstill due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but luckily interactive versions continue releasing to let fans faithfully mimic what life as a professional sports driver might be like. F1 2020 is easily the granddaddy of them all, serving as Codemasters premier racing title that introduces a whole bunch of improvements to the 10-year career mode and exhibition options, as well as including a fresh split-screen offering and all-new steering assist. Push pedal to the metal on Jul 10th when F1 2020 releases.

If you’re a huge Animal Crossing fan and are craving more land for you to take care of as anthropomorphic animals gather around, Story of Seasons – Friends of Mineral Town is absolutely worth a look. Also releasing on July 10th, this is actually a ground-up remake of a Harvest Moon game that released in 2003. Launching exclusively on Nintendo Switch, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is the long-awaited sequel to the original cult classic, most known for its weird atmosphere and unconventional story structure. It’s an investigative detective game very much in the style of Twin Peaks, unafraid to lean into the kooky or abstract as FBI agent York is against tasked with solving a mysterious murder case. Be sure to pick this one up on July 10th.

Sticking with the Nintendo Switch, Paper Mario: The Origami King promises to be the latest and greatest instalment in the Paper Mario series. Here players will control a 2D Mario as he must make his way through a charming papercraft world, doing battle with enemies and gaining support of companions as you take down the titular Origami King. This will be the first entry into the spin-off series since 2016’s Paper Mario: Colour Splash, so don’t miss it when it releases on July 17th.
Most famous for creating the Sly Cooper and inFamous series, SuckerPunch Productions has been hard at work developing Ghost of Tsushima since 2014. This open-world samurai epic has been a long time coming, likely serving as the last big Triple-A first-party exclusive coming to PlayStation 4 before S5 arrives. You’ll play as the titular ghost, defending the island of Tsushima by recapturing settlements and keeping the evil Mongolians at bay. It’s almost like the Japanese-set Assassin’s Creed game players have always wanted, so look forward to it on July 17th.
The remake wave continues in July thanks to this reimagining of the cult classic Destroy All Humans! Featuring improved mechanics, visuals and some general quality of life adjustments. You’ll still play as the gruff alien Crypto terrorising the citizens of 1950s suburban America, only now you can experience it with 2020’s updated graphics so it looks and plays just as you remember it. Look out for the Destroy All Humans! remake when it launched on July 28th.
