It’s proving to be quite the major week for all things Xbox Series X/S and Microsoft, as now the American platform-holder has officially confirmed its souped-up next-gen console’s Day One price, as well as when players around the world can start placing their pre-orders. The Xbox Series X will retail for £449, the Xbox Series S will retail for £249 and both will be up for pre-order on September 22nd. That is just a little over two weeks away.
The news was revealed via a post over on the Xbox News Wire, where Head of Xbox Phil Spencer went into great detail about all the different purchase options for both the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series S. “On November 10, a new generation of console gaming begins,” he stated. “That’s when our vision becomes reality with the most performant, immersive and compatible next-generation console gaming experiences, and the freedom to play your games with your friends, anytime, anywhere.”
