Xbox Game Pass continues to be the very best deal in gaming, granting members of both the standard and Ultimate subscription options access to over 100 games instantly. Today saw Microsoft reveal the next wave of games coming to the service, with most arriving as early as tomorrow.

The two headline acts are Darksiders Genesis and Man of Medan, both of which will only be up for download on home console. The first is a top-down co-operative action game that sees you and another player battle through the pits of hell in gory fashion. Man of Medan, meanwhile, is an interactive choose-your-own-adventure style game where you play through the events of your own horror movie and make different decisions. It’s not even October but already the scares are being set up.

Those two titles might be coming to Game Pass subscribers on console only, but the following games will also be coming to both console PC on August 6th – with one exception:

  • It Lurks Below
  • Trailmakers
  • UnderMine
  • Xeno Crisis
  • Final Fantasy VII HD (August 13th)

All these titles will be available to download from tomorrow onwards, as mentioned, running the gamut of genres including vehicle construction, action-adventure roguelikes and run-and-gunners. Unfortunately, getting a whole bunch of new games means that some will inevitably be leaving. The following Game Pass games will be leaving the service on August 14th (so still over a week):

  • Devil May Cry 5 (Console)
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance (Console & PC)
  • Space Hulk: Tactics (PC)
  • Where the Water Tastes Like Wine (PC)
  • Yoku’s Island Express (Console & PC)

Have you signed up to Xbox Game Pass yet? If you aren’t already, it might soon be worth it as xCloud streaming is set to arrive in select territories from September 12th. This only adds more value to the central hook of having access to over 100 games. Here’s the best current price for the basic Game Pass option:
