They say that Halloween is the time of year where you either get offered a trick or a treat, but there’s plenty of the latter to be had this morning thanks to a whole new series of great video game bargains the official Microsoft Store is offering. It’s all part of their spookily themed Shocktober sale, which sees Xbox One players able to gain up to 60% off on 150 select games – including recent releases like Borderlands 3 and Remnant: From the Ashes.

Heading up the list of offers, as mentioned, is the looting and shooting insanity of Borderlands 3, which sees significant discounts made to both its Deluxe and Super Deluxe editions. The Deluxe edition of Borderlands 3 comes with exclusive goodies like the Toy Box and Retro cosmetic packs, typically priced at £74.99 but can now be picked up at just £59.99 for a limited time. Similarly, the Super Deluxe gets you all this, plus the season pass, for less than £79 (It’s usually £104.99).

Other worthwhile savings include 40% off the gloriously gruesome Mortal Kombat 11, 50% off both Resident Evil 2 and the Fortnite Founder’s Pack, and 20% off Remnant: From the Ashes. Essentially, if you’ve been awaiting some great deals for games to play over the Halloween weekend, the Microsoft Store has all that you need.

Shocktober sale highlights running from now until October 31st

As mentioned, all 150 game discounts can be picked up directly over on the official Microsoft Store Shocktober offers page. However, we’ve picked out some of the highlights for you:
