Another weekend coming up means another slew of free games to check out on Xbox One courtesy of Xbox Free Play Days. And this time around there’s plenty to get excited about, particularly if you’re a fan of getting behind the wheel and tearing up the track. Between now and Sunday, August 23 players can try out Overwatch: Origins Edition, F1 2020 and Wreckfest for no additional charge.
F1 2020 is by far the headliner of this week’s selection, having released just a couple months ago to absolutely stellar reviews. Xbox Free Play Days is no stranger to giving players high-profile games to download and try out, but it can be rare to see a game so recent included. F1 2020 represents Codemasters best attempt yet at capturing the thrill of the F1 season in-game, featuring split-screen for the first time in a while and making slight mechanical tweaks to ensure cars handle better than ever.
Overwatch: Origins Edition obviously needs no introduction. And while it’s hard to imagine there being anyone yet to have played Blizzard’s wildly successful hero shooter, now is the time to see if it’s for you. Wreckfest is also an unexpected treat in this weekend’s selection. It’s a different kind of racing game compared to F1 2020, boasting in-depth vehicle upgrading and explosive demolition derby events.
All these featured Xbox Free Play Days are available for download now to anyone who is subscribed to either Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass. The best current price for both you can find below:
