The PlayStation blog has announced the annual Days of Play sale starts on Friday the 2nd of June at 12:01 AM and will be on until the 12th of June at 11:59 PM. You can expect savings across all the official PlayStation stores, including the PSN Store, PlayStation Direct and many other participating retailers, with discounts on a plethora of PlayStation goodies. Even though the PS5 is approaching it's 3rd birthday we would not expect the console it self to receive any discounts during the sale period.
This yearly sale is a great time to pick up PlayStation Plus subscriptions with new and existing customers being able to pick up a membership at a 25% discount across all the available tiers of PlayStation Plus. It's pretty difficult to find PlayStation Plus memberships at third-party retailers nowadays since the restructuring so this is probably the best way to save some money on PS Plus.
If you're looking for discounted PS4/PS5 physical games as well as the official accessories like the DualSense then heading over to direct.playstation.com when the sale starts is a good idea as we'd expect some solid discounts here. We're yet to see which retailers are participating in Days of Play but we'd expect Amazon to be involved but we will update as soon as we know more. This will definitely be a great time to pick up an extra controller for your PS5 set-up.
Probably the biggest highlight of the Days of Play sale is all the hefty discounts digital games on the PlayStation store receive. There tend to be some big bargains on top titles, so if there's any you've missed out on release keep an eye on the PlayStation store to see if they get their prices slashed when sales kick off on Friday, June 2nd. Furthermore, remember that you can really further your savings by taking advantage of our PlayStation gift card price comparison which shows where you can pick up PlayStation credit for cheap to spend on the PlayStation store; effectively doubling your savings and making your money go a lot further.
