Summer is in full swing and although the weather hasn’t been great lately Currys is giving us something to smile about with a PlayStation summer sale running from the 28th of July to the 10th of August with some crazy discounts on consoles, controllers and games. Even the PS5 console itself is going to be seeing a huge discount with bundles knocking as much as £90 off, these offers dwarf anything we’ve seen previously on the PS5 console even during periods like Black Friday. It's nice to see the PS5 dropping in price finally after we actually saw a price increase back in Summer last year!

In this article, we’re going to break down the sale and highlight some of the best PlayStation deals Currys is bringing to celebrate gaming this Summer.

Currys PlayStation Summer Sale PS5 Bundles and Deals

The biggest highlight of this sale from Currys has to be the PS5 bundles which are having the prices slashed to an all-time low. The discounts are primarily focused on the disc edition PS5 console and we're not seeing any drops on the digital PS5 but at these prices, the PS5 disc edition is a no-brainer. The console on its own has come down a whopping £90 from £479 to £399! On top of that, Currys have a £399 PS5 bundle with Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga thrown in effectively for free. Another really solid PS5 bundle in the Currys PlayStation Summer Sale is £429 for the console, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Gran Turismo 7!

Another thing about all these PS5 bundles is that they're included in Currys Buy now, pay later within 9 months with the 0% interest offer they're currently running. This means you can get your PS5 console and as long as you settle in full within 9 months you will incur no interest. A great way to spread payments and make buying your console a bit less stressful. Not only have Currys treated us with exceptional discounts on the PS5 consoles they've also dropped the prices of some PS5 accessories. The big standout is that this includes all the colourways of the PS5 DualSense Wireless controller dropping down to just £44.99 (usually £64.99), a really strong deal if you're looking for a second controller or just fancy something different from the standard white colourway that comes with the PS5. 6 colourways are included in this discount including a few of the popular cosmic themed DualSense controllers which rarely see discounts.

Currys PlayStation Summer Sale game deals
