We know we've been inundating the blog with bundle news recently, but there's a good chance that this will be our final update of the year - for the Xbox One, at least!
We're already awaiting the Assassin's Creed: Origins bundle which launches at the end of October, but this week Microsoft have announced another three bundles that will almost certainly round off their new bundles for 2017.
First up is an updated version of the highly popular Minecraft bundle. As well as the base game, which is what comes with the old bundle, the new one will include Minecraft: Story Mode Season One, and comes with a white 500GB Xbox One S and a controller. This is likely to be a big seller this Christmas, with Minecraft's popularity among kids and adults alike showing no signs of waning. It is worth noting, however, that this bundle does not include either the special Minecraft edition console or controllers.
Next is a Starter Bundle. Unlike the other two bundles we're covering in this post, the Starter Bundle doesn't come with a game or a special version of the console. Instead, it comes with a 3 month subscription to Xbox Game Pass, rather than the standard 1 month pass. Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft's Netflix-style service which grants players access to a wide range of games on an on-demand basis.
Finally, an all-new game bundle. Rocket League has proved consistently popular since its launch more than two years ago, tempting in casual players and competitive eSports stars alike with its deceptively complex game mechanics. The Rocket League Blast Off Bundle will come with a standard 500GB One S console and a download code for Rocket League.
So far, we've not seen any confirmation of dates. Unlike many bundles, which launch the same time as the same they're bundled with, all three bundles mentioned here could theoretically be launched today. Don't be surprised to see at least a couple, if not all, released before Black Friday, which falls this year on November 24th.

Regarding new controller colourways and having options, Microsoft is killing it. As a result, we thought you might want to see a round-up of every single controller released since the Xbox Series X and S hit shelves back in November 2020.
