There’s nothing more annoying than your internet slowing you down when you’re gaming. Whether it’s hampering your download speeds, lagging in-game or ruining your party chat you need to have a fast and reliable connection. To help make sure you don’t drop a frame there's Sky Full Fibre Broadband with different packages you can choose from to help take your gaming to the next level.

These packages use Sky’s next-gen Full Fibre which can produce download speeds up to 900 Mb/s on the UK's most reliable broadband technology, and its Full Fibre Gigafast package is 25 times faster than its standard fibre.

In this guide...

Why should you choose Sky Broadband for gaming?

Good internet is a necessity in any household, and there are lots of broadband providers new and old out there to choose from. Unlike countries like the U.S, there's lots of competition from broadband companies in the UK, which results in competitive pricing and companies offering other bonuses to get you to choose them as your broadband provider. If you hunt around you can find the right speeds for you at the right price point, but there are other reasons to pick a broadband provider than just the numbers.

Check our top 4 reasons why we love Sky Broadband for gaming:

1. Game-changing speeds

Sky’s next-generation Full Fibre broadband provides speeds of up to 900 Mb/s. This extra download speed means you're not having to wait for those pesky day-one game patches which can often take most of the day to download (Call of Duty we're looking at you).

2. Speed Guarantee

With Sky you get the broadband speed you were promised, or your money back, so you can keep battling your enemies and not your broadband.

3. Reliability

With Sky, you're powered by the UK’s most popular broadband provider and can game like a pro on the UK’s most reliable broadband technology.

4. Different packages with unlimited data allowance

With Sky Broadband there are different packages to suit your speed and budget needs. You can get the Full Fibre 500 broadband for just £33 a month, or if you’re an aspiring Esports pro you can get the Full Fibre Gigafast speeds for £43 a month.
