After revealing a slew of new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass last week, Microsoft is kicking off the month of July in style by announcing even more blockbuster titles imminently coming to the game-streaming subscription service. Made known via an official post on the Xbox Wire, some of the titles announced are available from today – with more expected to follow in just over a week.
The headline title that’s available to download for subscribers from today is Soulcalibur VI, which serves as the latest installment of Bandai Namco’s classic fighting game series. Featuring revised mechanics and overhauled visuals, this is a fighter that Witcher 3 fans won’t want to miss out on as Geralt himself acts as the core guest character this time around. If you’re looking for a viable alternative to Mortal Kombat or Tekken with a great track record, we’d say check it out.
Following that, retro RPG CrossCode also comes to the service from July 9th, being a purposeful homage to the likes of Secret of Mana and The Legend of Zelda albeit one with an explicit focus on boss fights. Set in the distant future, it won’t be too long until you’re engaged with a fast-paced combat system. Also arriving on Xbox One Game Pass is Fallout 76, Bethesda’s online-centric take on its classic post-apocalyptic series that has been on the recovery path since its launch in 2018.
Not a bad crop for the first half of the month, we’d say. It all just goes to show how much money you can save by staying subscribed to Xbox Game Pass. Speaking of which, if you need to renew, be sure to check out the best price for subscriptions below:
