Original Article: It’s no secret that the Nintendo Switch is the gift that keeps on giving. After all, in just three and a half years we’ve been treated to a slew of great special-edition console variants. The latest, as revealed this morning in a Nintendo UK press release, again centered on Fortnite and featuring exclusive in-game gear. It’s called the Nintendo Switch Fortnite Wildcat bundle – and it’s easily one of the better-looking Nintendo Switch bundles we’ve seen in quite a while.
The Nintendo Switch Fortnite Wildcat bundle will officially hit UK store shelves on October 30th, coming pre-installed with Fortnite (despite it being free), a set of Yellow/Blue Joy-Cons and various exclusive cosmetic items. Leading the pack for this is the new Wildcat Outfit as can be clearly seen on the box, a Sleek Strike Back Bling and two additional styles. Plus, because you can never have enough, the bundle also packs in 2000 V-bucks. Here’s a full breakdown:
Some cool design elements found in the Fortnite Wildcat bundle is of course the dock, which touts several logos and icons from the game splashed on in a repeating pattern. This pattern can also be found on the back of the main Switch unit itself. Then, one final nice touch, is on the right blue Joy-Con where the Switch home button takes on the shape of the infamous Fortnite Battle Bus.
No official price for the Nintendo Switch Fortnite Wildcat bundle was given in the press release, but seeing as Fortnite is free and going by the past track record of Fortnite bundles, expect this one to retail for the typical £279.99. Will you pick one up?
