November is looking to be one of the greatest months in gaming history. With tons of new games being released and let's not forget the fact that two brand new consoles are being launched! So lets take a walk along the November road and see what's in store

Assassins, Tanks and Wrestling

October 29th to November 4th

Well I had to include the end of October as on the 29th the new Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag is being released, the swashbuckling pirate adventure where you get to sail across the Caribbean to buried treasures, I mean what's not to love?

If your not into pirates and assassins though then fear not as battlefield 4 is being released just two days later for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on the 1st of November. Featuring Dice's new "Levolution" where the map your playing transforms around you, from skyscrapers falling to dams collapsing. Battlefield 4 is ramping up the action with more customisable vehicles, weapons and skin than ever before. A story driven single-player campaign that will push even the best battlefield players to their limits.

Other notable releases include WWE 2k14 on November 1st, Football Manager 2013 on October 21st and the launch of the android based gaming console the "Gamestick".

Ghosts, Professors and Batman

November 5th to November 8th

On November 5th the next game in the franchise that has defined the first person shooter for years is coming to Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC; I'm talking about Call of Duty: Ghosts of course. Infinity Ward is raising the bar yet again with the tenth instalment in the Call of Duty series. With an additional seven multiplayer modes including Grind, Hunted and Blitz CoD online is going to be as popular as ever and probably the number one Christmas seller.

Professor Layton is back with more than 500 puzzles in the latest brain exercising game "Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy." Available on 3DS on November the 8th, which also marks the launch of the 3DS version of Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate.

Super Heroes Made of Lego!

15th November

Play as your favourite Marvel super hero in all his Lego glory in Lego Marvel Super Heroes as you embark on a comical adventure. Where there are Lego Superheroes, there are always Lego Villains! Prepare to battle against the likes of Loki, Dr Doom and Galactus. Released on November the 15th for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, 3DS, PS Vita and PC, Lego Marvel Super Heroes is the biggest and best Lego game yet.

The lull before the storm...

November 22nd

The first of the next generation of consoles to be released will be the Xbox One. The revolutionary home entertainment system launches along side a host of fantastic titles including Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and FIFA 14. The thing that sways most consumers on which console to buy is the exclusives, and Xbox One has plenty of those.

Forza Motorsport 5 returns with a brand spanking new graphics engine that makes it a real stunner. The new Xbox One controller with its improved force feedback triggers allow for maximum control over the cars. Not into Racers? How about a zombie apocalypse in the Xbox exclusive Dead Rising 3. The whacky zombie bashing game returns with customisable vehicles and some of the most outrageous weapon combinations we've ever seen e.g The Sledgesaw, a sledgehammer with a cement saw on the end. Here it is in action:
