It seems like the wait for Bethesda’s follow-up to Doom 2016 forever, but at last you’ll be able to get the game in your hand this coming Friday. Doom Eternal launches on PC, Xbox One and PS4 this March 20th – alongside Animal Crossing: New Horizons, strangely – but what if we told you there was a way for die-hard Doom fans to celebrate its arrival with a special collector’s package?

Of course, merchandise-laden Collector’s Editions have become the norm for Triple-A games with a mass following. Unfortunately, however, unless you pre-order or pick it up around the first week of release, after a while these limited-edition packages are extremely hard to come by. Doom Eternal is getting a special Collector’s Edition that’s exclusive to GAME here in the UK. What’s included, you ask? We’ll cover all this and more in this short guide.

Hell to pay

The first thing to mention is the Doom Eternal Collector’s Edition’s price, which currently stands at £199.99. Don’t worry, though, because the amount of digital content and physical merch in this hellish package makes this a bullet worth biting. If you’re already sold and want to secure yours ahead of Friday’s release, check out the deal listing below:

Let’s get physical

In terms of merchandise, there’s plenty to look forward to from the Doom Eternal Collector’s Edition. The unavoidable main centrepiece is a life-size Doom Slayer helmet, which is totally wearable should you want to experience demon slaughtering for an accurate perspective. The helmet is incredibly detailed and has been designed to replicate both the look and feel of how it appears in Doom Eternal. Consider your next Halloween cosplay officially sorted.

Other physical merch featured in the deluxe package includes an official lore book by ID Software, an 11 x 17 “The Gift of Argent Power” lithograph, as well as a physical copy of Doom Eternal in a swanky steelbook case. There is also a copy of the official game soundtrack styled in the shape of an old cassette tape, but GAME has stated on its official page that it won’t be available at launch. As soon as Bethesda send them out, you should receive it soon after. So to summarize:

Physical Merch

  • “The Gift of Argent Power” 11 x17 Lithograph
  • DOOM Eternal Game and Exclusive Steelbook
  • Lore Book by ID Software
  • Wearable DOOM Slayer Helmet

In-game goodies

Those that pick up Doom Eternal Collector’s Edition also have a slew of digital goodies to look forward to also, some of which aren’t available anywhere else. The biggest boon is arguably the exclusive Demonic Slayer skin, which will let you deal out death to demons while wearing a suit that’s constantly engulfed in flames. Then you have the classic weapons sound pack, which does exactly what it says on the tin and digital versions of the soundtracks for both Doom and Doom Eternal.

Finally, the Doom Eternal Collector’s Edition also includes a year one pass for the game, meaning that the bloodshed never need stop throughout 2020 once you finish the campaign. This content hasn’t been explicitly detailed so far, but we do know that it includes two pieces of fully-fledged campaign DLC. Here's a breakdown:

Digital Content:

  • Year One Pass including campaign DLC 1 & 2
  • Demonic Slayer Skin
  • Classic Weapons Sound Pack
  • DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal Lossless Digital Soundtracks
