Microsoft have made a bunch of announcement today at Germany's Gamescom conference today, mostly pertaining to games. However, there were a few interesting new reveals regarding console bundles.
We already suspected that Xbox would own the marketing rights to Battlefield V, as they did with its predecessor, Battlefield 1. For that game, they released a special edition One S, and now it's the One X's turn to get the limited edition treatment.
This is the first time we've seen a special edition One X console, and Microsoft have kept it fairly simple for their first attempt. The console features a gold to black gradient finish that Microsoft are calling Gold Rush. The controller also looks slightly different to the standard black pad that comes with the X, with a lighter, grey finish.
The Gold Rush special edition comes with digital copies of Battlefield V and 2009's Battlefield 1943 thrown in for good measure. It also has a 14-day free Xbox Live gold membership and a month's trial of Xbox Game Pass.
If the special edition One X isn't for you, however, then fear not. Microsoft have announced two more Battlefield V bundles, one with a standard One X (in black) and one with a 1TB One S (in white). These bundles also come with Battlefield V and the trials of Xbox Live gold and Game Pass, but do not include Battlefield 1943.
Fallout 76 is another major title launching later this year. Unlike Battlefield, however, it's not one we were aware Microsoft had the rights for. With the enormous fanbase the series has, securing the exclusive - even if it's just for marketing - is a bit of a coup for Xbox. There's only one Fallout 76 bundle coming out, a standard black One X.
All the One X bundles have an RRP of £449.99, while the One S 1TB Battlefield V bundle will cost £249.99. The Battlefield bundles are all available on October 16th, while the Fallout 76 One X pack launches November 14th.

Regarding new controller colourways and having options, Microsoft is killing it. As a result, we thought you might want to see a round-up of every single controller released since the Xbox Series X and S hit shelves back in November 2020.
