Minecraft Legends Trailer

A new block-filled adventure awaits with Minecraft Legends on Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and PC!

It's hard to find a gamer who hasn't at least dipped their feet into the world of Minecraft, a title that still to this day is played by millions over a decade following its release. It turns out people really like Minecraft, and thus we've started to see offshoot games set in the Minecraft world but taking on different genres for example Minecraft Dungeons which took Minecraft to a diablo-esque hack and slash loot-filled adventure.

Continuing in this vein this year we're getting Minecraft Legends which combines action and strategy as you form alliances in order to take them into fierce battles against the evil Piglins! The game will be set in a familiar Minecraft overworld but with plenty of mystery and new aspects to explore with lush biomes filled with resources that are vital to the success of your playthroughs. Minecraft Legends is also going to feature cutscenes and a proper plotline for players to enjoy. The worlds are also going to be procedurally generated making every playthrough and multiplayer skirmish feel fresh.

RTS (real-time strategy) is definitely a genre of games that do not get as much love as they once did in the past so it's going to be very interesting to see how the team over at Blackbird Interactive combine it with the world of Minecraft. There will definitely be some building here in terms of creating your settlements to defend which should complement the RTS gameplay well.

If you're interested in purchasing Minecraft Legends we compare all the cheapest deals across all available platforms which are PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S | X, Nintendo Switch and PC. Keep in mind that if you're a PC or Xbox player that Minecraft Legends will be coming to Game Pass Ultimate on day one at no extra cost if you're already a subscriber.

Multiplayer madness with PVP, Co-op and cross-platform!

One of the best parts about Minecraft is playing with your friends and Minecraft Legends is looking to take advantage of that! The game will feature a Co-Op mode for the main campaign as well as a PVP mode that will be completely separate from the campaign which will allow you to skirmish your friends and prove who is the strategy master. You can play PVP with up to 8 players split into 2 teams with the objective of destroying the bases of your opponent's team in order to win.

Another very welcome feature is that Minecraft Legends is going to support cross-platform play from launch so all of the modes mentioned above can be enjoyed with friends regardless of what platform they're playing on.

Enjoy a selection of in-game goodies with the Deluxe Edition of Minecraft Legends

If you're jumping into a game with friends it's always good to be the best dressed there. The deluxe edition can help with this goal by providing a selection of in-game cosmetics that you can kit your hero and steed out with. By the way these deluxe edition items are not included with the Game Pass version of the game. The Deluxe Skin Pack that comes alongside the Deluxe Edition of the game includes:

  • One Hero Skin
  • Four Mount Skins
  • One Additional Mount Skin (when it becomes available)
