Pokémon Violet brings an all-new Pokémon adventure for Nintendo Switch on the 18th of November

Pokémon Violet and Scarlet are set to take the world by storm on November 18th as we see what the 9th generation of one of the biggest franchises in gaming has in store. These new mainline titles are taking several steps in the right direction taking direct influence from the very well-received Pokémon Legends: Arceus that was released back in January with its open-world and furthermore, adding new exciting features such as 4-player co-op for the first time!

Three new adorable starter Pokémon to choose from

One of the most important parts in any new Pokémon game is picking your starter and Pokémon Violet is no different. This time around we have the Fire-type crocodile Feucoco, the Grass-type cat Sprigatito and the Water-type duckling Quaxly. We can't wait to see what these little guys evolve into, but they're sure to be the backbone of your team.

Pokémon Violet exclusive Legendary and professor!

Whilst it's to be expected that Pokémon games will have a flagship legendary in the 9th generation games we will also have professors that are exclusive to each title. Pokémon Violet's legendary exclusive is Miraidon who is a robotic reptile. Miraidon is primarily violet in colour countered with metallic greys and light blue accents. Miraidon's design is extremely cool and we can't wait to see what typing the new legendary will have.
