Redfall Trailer

A new gorgeous crafted world from Arkane brimming with vampires comes to Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 2nd 2023

Arkane is one of Bethesda's premier developers bringing us great titles like Prey and Dishonored. This year they're back with Redfall, an open-world narrative-driven shooter filled with where we hope to see that Arkane charm coming through intricate world-building and excellent gameplay.

Redfall a town in Massachusetts has been overrun by vampires who have blocked out the sun and entrapped its citizens, it's your job to unravel the mystery of what brought the vampires here and how to vanquish their presence. Team up or go it alone as only a few survivors have what it takes to save Redfall, you can choose from a selection of heroes each with their own character-specific abilities that make them extremely capable vampire slayers.

Redfall will be a day one title on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for Xbox Series X and PC but if you're looking to buy Redfall cheap we've got you covered with our Redfall price comparison above with all the best deals.

Seamless solo and co-op play

Redfall is boasting to allow players to seamlessly jump into co-op play or take on vampires alone. All content can be played how you want to play it, there should be no need to group up but the game definitely looks to be a fun co-op adventure. There's definitely some Borderlands influence here as Redfall is going to be a looter shooter where you collect a powerful arsenal of weaponry building out your heroes loadout and different upgrades to fit how you like to play whether it be going in loud or heavy or taking the stealthy approach.

Explore the rich city of Redfall

Redfall is an open world that we're extremely eager to explore. With Arkane bringing us Dishonored's Dunwall and the Talos I space station from Prey it's hard not to look forward to a newly crafted world from these artisans. Redfall is going to be extremely dense with plenty to do and many points of interest to find. Of course, don't expect plain sailing as you walk around Redfall there are going to be plenty of vampires unhappy about your presence and it'll be part of your journey to wipe out their outposts and strongholds.

Redfall Characters Above Left to Right (Jacob, Layla, Remi and Devinder)

Pick the ideal hero to suit you

The villainous vampires of Redfall are the result of scientific experiments gone wrong, with many different types of vampires with all sorts of psychic abilities you're gonna need a group of well-equipped heroes to take on this threat. Redfall will feature 4 heroes all with their own abilities and customisable skill trees that make them very unique, opening up avenues for different builds and also some solid replayability as you try the different characters out during your playthrough. We're going to give a brief overview of these characters below so you can choose which one suits you best ahead of release.

Devinder 'Dev' Coursley

  • Cryptozoology influencer, dedicated his life to the pursuit of monsters so the vampire incursion is an opportunity to prove himself

  • Jacob is stooped in mystery with his vampiric eye and spectral raven who clings to his side as his faithful companion

Layla Ellison

  • A biomedical student who volunteered for a clinical trial as the vampire attack first happened which lead to her waking up in a vampire-ridden Redfall with a plethora of super-powers
  • Layla's powers are telekinetic, allowing her to manipulate objects moving them with great kinetic force as well as generating shields and blasting enemies across the battlefield

Remi De La Rosa

  • An exceptional robotics engineer who has spent her life on the frontlines in combat as a member of the Navy
  • Remi wants nothing more than to help the survivors of Redfall
  • Joined by her robot companion 'Bribon' Remi will use her knowledge of robotics and engineering in order to take out enemies in a plethora of creative ways only a technologically talented individual can.
