Karakuri is the ancient technology you must master in order to vanquish the Kemono beasts that rampage through the lands of Azuma. Karakuri allow you to place objects and adapt your environment for a strategic advantage; you're only limited by your creativity in combat. Your ability to wield Karakuri is what separates you from other hunters.

As to expected from any game in the hunter genre collecting materials and crafting gear is your main form of progression and Wild Hearts is no different. Craft an array of armor and weapons in order to defeat larger and more powerful Kemono. There is going to be a selection of weapon types in Wild Hearts including: katana, bow, bladed wagasa (Umbrella), Maul, Nodachi, Staff and potentially more. All weapon will be have their own unique combos and skill trees for you to master and experience. Changing your weapon could entirely change how the game feels so don't be afraid to switch around to find your preferred playstyle!

Wild Hearts is releasing on PS5, Xbox Series X | S, PC (via Steam, Origini and Epic Games Store) and will have cross-play support from day one so you can join up with other hunters regardless of platform.
No, you can play Wild Hearts offline or online. The game can be enjoyed entirely solo if you'd prefer that to joining up with other players (co-operative with up to 3 players).
