Mid-generation hardware upgrades have become all the rage during this era of Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. It’s now expected for original models to eventually be replaced by a variant(s) that is much neater, more powerful and more player friendly. Xbox One has seen two of these in the slimmer S and X models – the latter being the dubbed “the world’s most powerful console” – but, not to worry, the official White Xbox One controller works is compatible across all three Xbox One consoles released.
