EA Sports FC 24, a new name for the next era of EA's premier football title

As you might be aware EA's long-lasting relationship with FIFA has finally come to a close therefore this year the names changed and in the future EA's football game will be known as EA Sports FC. Whilst we may see a FIFA 24 it won't be made my EA. However, the breakdown of the relationship between EA and FIFA does not seem too much of a cause for concern with EA Sports FC 24 having 19000+ fully licensed players, 700+ teams and over 30 leagues to play with. EA Sports FC is a continuation of the foundations built on almost 30 years of EA FIFA games.

EA Sports FC looks to be striving towards realism with HyperMotionV, playstyles by Opta, improvements to the frostbite engine and also making some pretty sweeping changes to its Ultimate Team mode to enhance player-choice with the addition of Ultimate Team Evolutions. HyperMotion V and Playstyles by Opta bring you closer to the beautiful game

EA are always trying to improve the realism in their yearly football game and EA Sports FC 24 is no different. HyperMotionV looks to take advantage of tonnes of data from professional matches from both men's and women's football and apply this to the game, to help movement and running styles match those you'd expect to see in real life. HyperMotionV is only in the game's PS5, Xbox Series X and PC versions.

Furthermore, Playstyles by Opta wants to further increase the authenticity in-game by capturing the unique abilities and playstyles we see from some of the best players in the world. An example they've given for this would be Haaland's power shot. Authenticity definitely feels like a focus in EA Sports FC 24 and we look forward to seeing how that translates into the game on release.

Ultimate Team has some big changes in EA Sports FC 24

Some players exclusively pick up EA's yearly Football entry just for the Ultimate Team game mode, and this year there are some significant changes coming so you can make your Ultimate Team unique. So let's get into the new features.

More players and more choices will be a part of this year's Ultimate Team. Women's football is being added offering a huge amount of variability to the game mode with six new leagues increasing the opportunities in squad building for your perfect 11 on the pitch.

Ultimate Team will also be adding a new feature called Ultimate Team Evolutions. Evolutions look to give the players the ability to develop their own club legends as by completing sets of objectives you will be able to improve a player's skills, PlayStyles and overall ratings helping them stay relevant as a part of your Ultimate XI. There's also an aesthetic side to this with Player cards potentially getting new designs and animated backgrounds as you upgrade them so you can show off to your opponents with your homegrown stars.
