Everyone’s favourite open world FPS series is back with the first main game for four years. Set in the US, Far Cry 5 pits you against a fundamentalist religious leader who has taken over a small community in rural Montana. As a deputy sheriff, you must quell the threat of the leader and his followers by any means necessary.

Despite being set in the more familiar setting of the United States, Far Cry 5 still promises mayhem like only it can thanks to its familiar story of dictatorial behaviour that needs stopping. This time, rather than a fixed character, players can create their own character to inject their own personality into the game.

The personalisation opens don’t end there either. Far Cry’s open world is more open than ever. You can recruit some of the embattled townspeople to aid your cause, and even tame wild animals to help you take down your enemies. And of course, you’ll be provided with a ridiculous armoury with which to achieve your goals. Have fun!
