Looking for an arcade racer perfectly suited to showing off your next-gen Xbox console? Forza Horizon 5 from Playground Games should do it, setting players behind the wheel of all kinds of motorsport vehicles to drive across a beautiful in-game rendition of Mexico. It follows the developer’s excellent work on Forza Horizon 4, presenting yet another ever-evolving open world and landscapes that are sure to make your jaw drop.

Forza Horizon 5 was most recently shown off at this year’s E3, where the fun driving action was confirmed to make its return while looking more beautiful than ever thanks to the power of Xbox Series S|X. Some of the world’s greatest on- and off-road vehicles will make their debut in Forza Horizon 5 when the Xbox exclusive game releases on November 9th, 2021.

Experience all Mexico has to offer in 4K 60fps on Xbox Series S|X

Forza Horizon 5 has been built from the ground up for Xbox Series S|X, taking advantage of its unique capabilities like simultaneous 4K UHD visuals and a silky 60 fps. All this will be possible alongside near-instant load times and responsiveness, with Ray-Traced support already baked in. Plus, photogrammic imagery for certain Mexican locations has allowed the developers to render them in game in the most realistic detail.

The only social open-world racer returns

While racing alone is decent, Forza Horizon 5 continues to champion a large social element, where players can jump into each other’s games smoothly and easily. This enables you to team up with other players during events or when taking on challenges that could see you take to the leaderboard. Loading is still kept minimal even during over-the-top social events with friends.

Ever-evolving weather that affect the way you race

This version of Mexico always remains beautiful regardless of the weather conditions. However, events like towering dust storms and intense tropical rain pour can occur differently on a week-by-week basis, always keeping you on your toes and sometimes opening up new areas to explore. Return to weather events if you crave more of a challenge and want to put vehicles to the test.
