The Division is Ubisoft’s shared-world shooter franchise that casts you in the role of a lowly resistance fighter forced with surviving the post-apocalypse. The first game took place in New York and Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 returns, now in Washington, D.C, to let you and a squad of friends take the fight back while restoring law and order to the US capital. Wintery landscapes have been replaced with the sweltering heat of summer as The Division 2 promises to be an enthralling survival experience.
Featuring aspects of RPG, open world and third-person action, as you upgrade your team’s abilities and loadouts, the game enables you to approach the unique challenges posed by post-pandemic America. Play alongside friends in co-op style or solo, and work together to bring peace back to America. Doing either always requires an internet connection to be enjoyed to its fullest.
As is the case with most live service games of this nature, The Division 2 is an experience that will continue to be improved and iterated upon post-launch. This takes the shape of regularly updated weekly and daily missions which offer exclusive materials and rewards, along with new missions and game modes set to take place in new areas of Washington DC.
