for Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood
Perfect for players looking to indulge in their hairier side, Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is a new third-person action game that lets you take advantage of multiple wolf forms in order to take on enemies. It’s based upon the highly popular ‘World of Darkness’ range of RPG tabletop games, embedding familiar traits like rage into the gameplay to help you better unlock the inner beast.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood sets you in the shoes of Cahal, a powerful werewolf known as Garou who is forced to go into exile after suffering a tragic personal loss. Eventually, though, he’s forced to join back up with his pack, infiltrating a shady energy corp and using his abilities as a werewolf to defend the Earth. This forms the basis for savage wolf-based combat blended with stealth and RPG storytelling.
Unleash your rage in Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood on PS4, PS5, Xbox and PC
This isn’t your average third-person action game. You don’t even have the ability to use guns. Fear not, however, because Cahal is equipped with three unique forms in Human, Lupus and Crinos. Lupus is the dog-like status, letting you speed around environments and pas through vents. Crinos, meanwhile, lets you engage in full wolf-based combat, utilising special moves to take down oncoming attackers. This visceral action is coming to PlayStation and Xbox console, as well as PC.
Flexible werewolf melee combat
Earthblood gives you many tools to defeat your enemies, especially when in Crinos form. From lunging directly through the air to gory finishing executions, you’ll really feel the strength of the werewolf when playing. Skills like these are also fully upgradeable over the course of the main campaign, helping to render Cahal a far more efficient killing machine.
Stealth lets you approach scenarios differently
If you’d rather avoid direct confrontation with enemies, Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood allows you to do so in specific stealth sequences. This is also where the smaller Lupus form comes in handy, letting you navigate complex routes quickly without alerting nearby soldiers. Then, when the time is right, you can sneak up behind enemies and take them out to slowly build up your rage meter.
Regarding new controller colourways and having options, Microsoft is killing it. As a result, we thought you might want to see a round-up of every single controller released since the Xbox Series X and S hit shelves back in November 2020.
Xbox All Access is a subscription plan that lets you buy an Xbox Series S and X console alongside Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with no upfront cost on a 0% interest contract. Here's how it works.
